1. Burn Turmeric in fire and deeply inhale the smoke. It gives better results against cold. Else you can take hot coal then sprinkle turmeric powder over the coal and inhale the fragrance/smoke.

2. Mix Pomegranate and lemon juice and drink for Cold.

3. Boil the Purple Fruited Pea Eggplant along with Cumin seeds. Then Filter out and drink.
Solanum trilobatum (Biological name), Purple Fruited Pea Eggplant(English Name) otherwise called as Climbing Brinjal. In tamil its தூதுவளை

4. Drinking Bermuda Grass juice will help in relieving congestion.

5. Boil a cup of milk with 4 cloves of Garlic . Then add a pinch of Turmeric Powder and a tbsp. of Pepper. Drinking this mixture also relieves cold.

10 Food Stuffs that you need to avoid in Empty Stomach

There are certain food stuffs that needs to be avoided in empty stomach. Following are those food stuffs that needs to be taken out from your diet chart when you are in empty stomach.



1.Soda
As Soda contains excess amount of Carbonate Acid, it reacts with other acids in empty stomach and causes Vomiting sensation.(This may be a known one!!!)

2.Tomato
Consuming tomatoes in empty stomach can result in stone formation.

3. Medicines
Always Medicines needs to be taken after good food. Else it may imbalance your body. Even today, doctors advise the same when they write the prescription.

4. Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol itself a idea for healthy life. In that, Alcohol in empty stomach may cause stomach burns.

5. Spicy Foods
Spicy foods severely damages your stomach when taken in empty stomach.

6. Coffee
Drinking coffee in empty stomach is not advisable. The caffeine present in coffee may cause serious  trouble to your stomach. So prefer drinking a cup of water before you have coffee. (I personally experienced stomach ache when I drank coffee in empty stomach)

7. Tea
Like Coffee, Tea also contains desirable amount of caffeine so say NO to tea in empty stomach.

8. Banana
Banana is rich in Magnesium, so consuming banana in empty stomach may increase Magnesium content in your body. Hence resulting imbalance in Calcium- Magnesium content in your body.

9. Curd
Curd contains good bacteria that is essential for your health but consumption of curd in empty stomach may cause bacterial reaction in stomach.

10. Sweet Potato
Tannins and  Betaine vitamins present in sweet potato may increase the acid level when taken in empty stomach and may result in heartburn.

8 Simple ways to reduce your weight

In this post we can check how you lose your weight by simple methods. Those methods needs no special equipment or special ingredients. We can check how weight loss can be achieved by ourselves with our homemade stuffs. This is going to be simple and effective.
 

 
  1. Take the following ingredients : 1/4 tbsp. pepper, 3 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 tbsp. honey and mix those in a cup of water(200ml). Intake it, for about 3-4 to reduce your weight gradually.
  2. Have a cup of water along with honey and lemon juice, every morning.
  3. Have a raw fresh tomato before your breakfast.
  4. Consume 10-12 Curry leaves daily.
  5. Boil peeled and sliced Ginger(2 inch long) in a cup of water(200ml). and consume it when you are in hunger. Doing so will reduce your hunger which helps in over consumption of food.
  6. Reduce intake of Rice and Potatoes. Instead opt for Wheat and Grains.
  7. Avoid high calorie foods like ice creams, chocolates, sweets, butter, cheese etc.
  8. Cabbages reduces the accumulation of fat in body, so including cooked or uncooked cabbage in your diet can help in reducing weight.
Remember weight reduction cant be achieved overnight. It needs some patience. Following the above said methods can help you to reduce your weight. In addition you need to be physically active throughout the day. My wishes for your weight loss program.

Are You Pregnant ? Then you need to Check This.

Pregnancy is a wonderful experience in every women life. Every woman wish to give birth to a healthy child. But in few cases we find birth defects in child. Researches say that this is due to lack of proper treatment during pre and post delivery. This could be rectified if every conceived woman is aware of what to be done during their pregnancy period.


Pre Conceptional Counselling:
Initially, if you are planning for a child, then you need to get prepared both physically and mentally. You need to be aware of the guidelines to follow during the pregnancy period. So better opt for a pre conceptional counselling. So that your doctor could track your height, weight and blood pressure from the initial stage.
And also it helps them to meditate you properly if you are having diabetes, blood pressure and thyroid issues. So that they ensure no risk in pregnancy.

Vaccination and Medication:
Rubella and Hepatitis Vaccination has to be given. In take of Folic acid capsules during first 3 months is good for child's growth. When you are pregnant avoid self medication without doctor's advice. If you have diabetes then, medicines will be given to maintain the sugar level.

Scanning During Pregnancy:
First Scan - Between 10-12 weeks.
Second Scan - Between 22-24 weeks.
Third Scan - Between 32-34 weeks.
Apart from these scans, if your physician needs to check child's growth in between ,you will need to take up.

Nausea:
Some may feel morning sickness/nausea during the initial period of pregnancy. So prefer taking solid foods instead of fluids. Smell of lemon would give slight relief.

Cramps:
Cramps occur because of calcium deficiency. So include calcium rich food to your food diet. A gentle massage can also give you relief. Sleep with a pillow for your legs.

Food to follow:
Important part in pregnancy is food. Take nutritious food and avoid junk foods. After 5 months of your pregnancy, you need to intake 300 Calories per day. Take easy digestive foods. Include more fiber rich food to avoid constipation. Consume lot of water.

Sleep:
Proper 8 hours sleep at night is advised. Lying sideways is preferred rather than facing the ceiling.

Travel :
Avoid travel during first 3 months and last 2 months of your pregnancy. Mostly avoid long journeys and do not travel often.

When to ring your doctor:
If you suffer from severe head ache, upper abdomen pain, bleeding, problem in urination then approach your doctor for guidance.

7 Day Weight Loss Challenge

Again a post regarding weight loss, I found the following post somewhere in net, few days back. I tried it for a week and lost few kgs of weight. Couldn’t continue due to some circumstances. But I’m sure if I had continued the following diet atleast for a month I could have achieved a remarkable loss in weight. So sharing with you friends so that it could help you out in your weight loss program.
 
Day 1: Fruits Diet
To start with the diet plan lets start with a healthy kick. So will go with fruits. Day 1 in take only fruits, it can be consumed as a salad, juice or smoothie… whichever way you like. And in addition consume plenty of water.
Day 2: Veggies
Day 2 you have to stick to Vegetables diet, You can intake vegetables as salad or boiled ones. You can even add Potatoes also. And drink minimum 8 glasses of water a day(Its recommended to consume more amount of water to get better results).
Day 3: Fruit & Veggie Diet
Day 3 you can have fruits and vegetables diet. In this day if you eat a bowl of fruits in morning then take a bowl of vegetable salad in noon, keep them alternatively. Remember to avoid bananas and Potatoes.
Day 4: Milk & Bananas
Day 4 is exclusively for Bananas and milk. You can make smoothie out of them and have it. Skimmed milk is preferred. (I think this would be a hard day);-)
Day 5: Tomatoes & Rice
Day 5 you can consume a bowl of rice and tomatoes(8-10 nos). You can intake tomatoes either raw or cooked. You have to increase the amount of water consumption here.
Day 6: Rice & Vegetables
Day 6 you can have a bowl of rice and fresh vegetables throughout the day. With an add-on of water. You can have rice either in morning or noon and rest of the day have bowl of vegetables.
Day 7: Vegetables & Juices
Day 7, you can have mixed combination of all. You can have a bowl of rice, bowl of vegetable salads, and fresh fruit juices. So that it helps to remove toxins from your body.

Secret juices that reduce weight

Juice 1:
1. Peel the outer layer of Aloe-vera(1 long aloe stem), then you will get inner transparent flesh of aloevera.
2. Mash it in a mixer and add lemon juice(half lemon).
3. Drink in empty stomach for better results.

Juice 2:
1. Wash the Bermuda Grass thoroughly and blend in mixer.
2. Drinking Bermuda Grass juice in empty stomach will constantly reduce your weight. This  juice also melts your belly fat faster.

Juice 3:
Carrot juice(1 no.) along with honey (1 tbsp)can reduce the fat that are accumulated in your body and helps in fast weight reduction.

Juice 4:
1. Wash Fennel seeds thoroughly.
2. Add Fennel  Seeds to your drinking water.
3. Boil it and make this drink as a alternative for water. It shows good result in weight reduction when consumed daily.

Add-on Juices

5 Drinks that melts your body fat faster

Hey buddies!!! As said in our previous post Im publishing my secret homemade drinks that melt your fat. Consuming these drinks on regular basis will surely reduce your fat in your body. I summed up all the drinks which I gathered from various sources so you can stick to anyone of the drink that is comfortable and  which drink you hope will help you in your weight loss program.

Now we can see the drinks that help to reduce your weight.



Drink 1:
Cucumber 5 Slices
Mint Leaves -8
Lemon -half cut into small pieces.
Ginger- an inch grated.
Put all the above stuffs in a glass of boiled water and keep it overnight. Drink the water next day morning in empty stomach.

Drink 2:
Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger extract, Honey -1 tbsp
Avacardo - half
Mint leaves- few
Peel avacardo and add all to the mixer to make a juice out of it by adding water. Drink in empty stomach.

Drink 3:
Aloe Vera juice, Ginger extract- 1 tbsp
Lemon juice -1 fruit
Cucumber juice- 1 no
Mint juice- 1/4 cup.
Combine all the juices and add 1/2 cup water and drink before going bed.

Drink 4:
Jeera Powder-1 tbsp ,
Fenugeek Powder - 1/2tbsp
Buttermilk/ Water.
Add both the powders in a glass of water or buttermilk. Drink everyday , not conditional to be in empty stomach.

Drink 5:
This is the common drink that everyone must have tried.
Lemon juice and honey mixed in lukewarm water. Drink the water in empty stomach.

Note:
Results may vary based on your health condition. So patience is needed for these type of weight loss program. You can even consult your doctor before you start up with these drinks as a precautionary step. But Im sure these dont have any side effects to harm you.

How to reduce heat from your body?

Everyone is stressed nowadays, even the kids as result our body gets heated up. So relaxing your body and mind becomes necessary. Due to the heat,pimples has developed,hair fall increased and also I found cracks in my feet. So I decided to kick out the heat from my body. My friends suggested that Massages can do magic against stress and heat . But I got an alternate idea for you guys to reduce heat and chill out.


Ingredients needed:

1. Gingelly Oil
2. Garlic -2 Cloves(Unpeeled)
3. Pepper

Method:

a. Heat required amount of Oil and add garlic and pepper to it.
b. Switch off the flame, allow the Oil to cool.
c. Filter it, add apply the oil to the thumb fingers of both your legs.
d. Keep it for about 2 min and wash it out.
After appling the oil, you could feel the chillness that spreads to your body. Remember do not keep it for more than 2 min as it can increase the chillness in your body, which results in cold.
You can do this simple practise atleast once a week, so that you can kick out the heat that causes stress.

Caution:
Do not try this if you are in fever or cold. Not recommended for pregnant women/chidren.

Simple Home Remedies to wipe out Dark Circles


Dear Butterflies!!! Tired in searching of perfect solution for dark circles? Here I came up with few Home remedies for your dark circles. It doesn't cost more like your branded products. But you can find the positive outcome for sure. In this course, you are going to have 4 stages of treatment. So lets check those stages first.
  • Toner for your Dark Circles.
  • Massage.
  • Face Mask.
  • Treatment with Orange Ice Cubes.


 Toner for your Dark Circles:

Before every treatment, you need to make the treating area clear. Lemon is a natural toner, so extract the lemon juice and rub all over the affected area. Avoid contact with eyes. Along with Lemon add 2 tbsp of Tomato extract also. These both extract will cleanse the affected area effectively.

Massage:

Before bed, gently massage your dark circle area with Almond oil or Vitamin E Oil. Leave it throughout night and wipe it with cotton balls in morning. You can clearly find the darkness removed. Repeat this until you get improved results. It is important than all other stages.

Face Mask:

Mash Peeled Potato and apply the paste around your eyes. Leave for 15 min and wash in lukewarm water.
Mashed Cucumber paste also can be used as a mask. Repeat the above said procedure.

Treatment with Orange Ice Cubes:

1. Extract Orange juice and pour in Ice   trays. Freeze it
2. Cover the Orange Ice cubes with           cotton cloth
3. And give gentle massage touch around the treating area
4. Continue this step for atleast 15 min.

These Simple steps can treat your dark circles more effectively. You can see improved results within a month for sure if you follow the above steps regularly.

Tips: Dip cotton balls in Rose water and wipe around the eyes whenever you are free.

Good day Guys!!!! If you want a perfect shape then you surely need to read on the post. Here I gathered most valuable points that are needed for weight loss from various resources. So I think it would help you a lot in all aspects.

 I started surfing for a good alternate remedy to reduce my weight as I'm lazy to do heavy workouts and found few stuffs. The following stuff which I'm going to state below really gave me good results so wanted to share with you people.

9. Depression leads to obesity. So dont stress yourself.
10. Have good sleep.

Grow your Eyebrows naturally


Hey buddies, good few mails stating "Is there remedy to grow Eyebrows Naturally?" I would say yes for this. Though you cant get tremendous change, you could feel the difference. Ok lets see what can be done to see the difference.

Coconut Oil :

Castor & Amla Oil:

Mix Milk and Honey. Then apply to eyebrows.
Massage and leave overnight. Wash with warm water.

Continue these massage daily so that you can get faster results. You can try anyone of the above methods based on the ingredients that are available in your home.

Tips: Always make sure that you have a oily stuff in eyebrows. Eventhough you have thin eyebrows, it may present it as thick eyebrows.
Dont rub eyebrows.
Using eyebrow pencils will let you show dense eyebrows.

Moms ! Say NO Chemicals for your Babies.


Hello ladies, recently I read an article regarding a popular baby product company contains cancer causing substances in it.  And with that shock I threw all the products to the dustbin. Because its my baby's life in danger. I advised this to my friend also. But she raised a question,"What else can we use? Only this product is available in our products" Yeah across India this is the only brand that is at top of the table. We ignore other products as they dont posses brand name and popularity.
Should I need to continue the same products to use for my baby even after knowing that the chemicals in the products can harm my child.? A big No I said. I started to search for the alternative.
I remembered, when my baby was born, my mom advised me not use soaps and she gave me some powder that is prepared at home to use instead. But when my child turned 1 I stopped that powder(as we need to prepare by ourselves) and went for soaps. So asked her for the details.
Finally I came up with this in mind,I spend time to prepare homemade face mask, scrub at home , so why cant I prepare a natural soap remedy for my kid. Now I started using that powder for bathing my kid instead of chemical soaps. Its purely natural,safe to use and also contains many skin benefits too.

Preventing Hair fall & Hair damage in Natural way

Good day Ladies !! Summer is On...  And there rises many problems for hair and skin. This post is about controlling hair fall in natural ways using the stuffs in home. It also covers hair damages and dandruff that occurs more in this summer.

First rule in this summer to follow is to wash your hair frequently and keep it clean. Use recommended conditioner for your hair type. This will solve half of your problem. Now we can see what all home ingredients can be included to reduce your hair fall.


Stuffs you need :

Coconut Milk
Egg yolk
Fenugreek seeds
Green gram flour
Coconut oil
Mustard oil
Lemon extract
Gooseberry extract
Onion
Henna leaves

We can proceed in step wise manner.
Step 1:
Oil massage.
Step 2:
Hair Scrub.
Step 3 :
Hair pack.
Step 4:
Natural Hair shampoo.
Step 5:
Natural Hair conditioner.

Oil Massage:
Generally massage helps in blood circulation. This will result in hair growth.

Massage 1:
 Mix half cup of lemon and gooseberry extracts and gently massage to your scalp.

Massage 2:
Boil a bunch of henna leaves in mustard oil and allow to cool.
Filter the residue and massage the oil to your scalp.

Hair Scrub:
1. Mix 1 tbsp of Olive oil, 1 tbsp of Sea salt and few drops of lemon.
2. Rub this mix on your wet scalp.
3. Rinse well and shampoo it.

Salt and oil combination repairs damaged hair and provides moisture to your hair.

Hair Pack:
Pack 1:
Plain egg yolk can be used as a hair pack. This pack help in repairing hair and provides protein to your hair.

Pack 2:
Soak Fenugreek seeds overnight and make a paste of it. And apply to your scalp at least 30 min before hair wash.

Hair Shampoo:
If you are in need of chemical free natural shampoo just use Green gram flour to wash your hair.

Natural Hair Conditioner:
1. Extract a cup of coconut milk.
2. Add 2 drops of lemon.
3. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
4. Creamy deposit will be formed on top of the coconut milk.
5. Apply the creamy portion to your hair and wash it with mild shampoo.

You can feel your hair more soft and silky than before.

Homemade Oil treatment for various hair problems


Hello friends this article will provide you few ideas on how to create home made hair oils for various hair problems. These really help you to get rid of your hair problems as these oils are made pure and on right proposition by you. Just try out and said as your feedback.

Treatment 1:(During hair bath)
Grind Curry leaves, Neem leaves, Hibiscus leaves and boil the mixture in coconut oil. Apply this oil to your scalp and gently massage. After few minutes have a mild shampoo hair bath with conditioner.

Benefits :
Provides thick and dark hair.
Removes dandruff.
Note:
Use at least 1 liter of coconut oil.
Take handful of dried Curry leaves, Neem leaves, Hibiscus leaves 


Treatment 2:(Conditioning hair)

Dry Jack fruit seeds in sunlight and powder them. Along with that powder add 2 tbsp Green gram flour and 1 tbsp Fenugreek powder. Mix it with required about of Sesame oil to make a hair pack. Apply it for few minutes and have a mild shampoo bath.
Benefits :
This acts as a conditioner for your hair.
Leaves hair soft and shiny.
Note :
Use 3 tbsp of Jack fruit seed powder and increment according to your hair consistency.

Treatment 3:(Daily use oil)

Dry Rose petals, few henna(mehandhi leaves) and red Hibiscus petals in sunlight and make powder out of it.
Boil Coconut oil and add this powder and allow the sediment to settle down at least for a day and start using it daily.
Benefits :
Improves hair growth.
Reduces hair fall.
Gives pleasant smell to hair.
Note :
Add only few amount of henna. 
Use at least 1 liter of coconut oil.
Take handful of dried rose and hibiscus petals.

Aloe Vera and Green tea gel for under eyes

Aloe Vera-green tea gel acts as a coolant for your stress. It makes you feel more relaxing as it reduces the strain in your eyes. Also it makes skin less prone to wrinkles. Acts against  your dark circles. On the whole it is more effective for your eyes after a long tiring day.

Preparing under eye gel in home is simple. And we provide you two easy methods for your comfort.

                   

Method 1 :
  • Take 5 tbsp of boiled green tea water and put few cut pieces of peeled aloe vera to it.
  • Allow both to gel for 15 min.
  • Mash them and add 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of olive oil.

Method 2:
  • Dry green tea leaves in Sun light for few days until it is good enough to grind.
  • Now grind the leaves to fine powder and store it in a dry container.
  • Peel the outer layer of aloe vera and mix it with green tea powder.
  • Then add 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Your under eye gel is now ready to apply. Regular use of this home made gel gives you better result for sure.

Benefits :
  1. Gives good result for hyper-pigmentation.
  2. Can apply for cracked feet.
  3. Removes under eye darkness and Sun tan

Homemade face pack for removing Pigmentation

Pigmentation is one of the major skin problems that reduces the beauty of our face. It could be treated in the earlier stage.

Here are few face packs to try at home to reduce the effect of pigmentation and dark spots in your face. The results may vary based on the severity of the problem.
                       


Pack 1:(Lemon & Turmeric)

Mix lemon juice with a pinch of turmeric and apply to the affected area.
Lemon removes dirt from your face and turmeric as antiseptic protects your skin from excess damage caused by Sun.

Pack 2:( Cucumber & curd)

Mash cucumber and add fresh curd and apply to your face.
This pack removes the tiredness from your face and adds extra glow to your face and curd lightens your tanned skin.

Pack 3: (Papaya & Milk)

Mash papaya and add milk or use fresh cream and apply to your face.
Papaya helps in regeneration of skin cells so applying this against the pigmented  area will help to remove affected skin cells.

Pack 4 :(Honey & Banana)

Mix 1 tbsp of honey with banana and make a thick paste to apply on your face.
Banana helps in exfoliating and lightens the skin. Honey helps to keep skin free from toxins.

Pack 5: (Yoghurt , Banana & Tomato)

Mix fresh yoghurt with ripe banana and tomato to make a thick paste and apply to your face.
Tomato bleachs the skin naturally and yoghurt cleanses the skin and acts against tanned skin.

Pack 6 : ( Aloe Vera Gel)

Apply aloe Vera gel to your pigmented area daily. Aloe Vera has good healing tendency against skin problems.

You can apply these packs from 15 -30 min. Then wash with lukewarm water or remove it with cotton balls dipped in hot water. Apply all those packs on a circular basis for better results.

Causes :

Pigmentation, dark spots or uneven skin tone occurs due to various factors. Main reason is exposure to UV rays caused by Sun and inadequate attention to your skin.

Simple Scrub to use :

Mix Sandal, turmeric powder, oatmeal and rose water. You can use this as a scrub whenever required. This combination do wonders against pigmentation.

How to prevent it?

1. Use good SPF Cream greater than 30 before exposure to Sun light.
2. Wash your face with a face wash that suits your skin when you are back home.
3. Give a nice massage with cotton balls dipped in hot water.
4. Rub cut piece of lemon else cut piece of fresh potato to your face once a week.
5. Wash your face with coconut milk to retain

Tips :

In spite applying those fruit face packs add them to your diet. As they help to improve your health and beauty.
