Winter Bath, Winter Drink and so on...

Winter has arrived so as the infections. We have to adapt ourselves for every season and approach it in a way which we like and interesting.
Here is a post on how to prevent cold, cracks, throat infections that is common in this season.

Winter Bath :

A hot bath in winter season gives lots of freshness. To make your bath more interesting add few eucalyptus leaves to the hot water.

Benefits:

  • This bath relaxes yourself and you can feel the freshness throughout the day.
  • Prevents from cold and headache.


Winter Drink:

Prefer boiled water in winter season. When you boil the water put few tulasi leaves and jeera to it.

Benefits:
This drink prevents cold.

Winter Cracks :

Heat coconut oil to bearable warmth and add 2 tbsp glycerin to it. Then apply this to your cracked heels before bed.

Throat infection :

Most common infection in winter is throat infection. How to prevent this? Gargling with lukewarm salt water twice a day helps to avoid throat infection.

Cold :


  • When you are suffering from cold always prefer hot water. This will be good for your throat.
  • Put few tulasi leaves in water and drink it.
  • Spell Eucalyptus oil often this may relieve nose block.
  • Taking honey with Cinnamon reduces cough.

Curry leaves Chutney


Ingredients:

Curry leaves - a bunch
Urad dhal - 3 tbsp
Red chillies - 4
Tamarind - small lemon size
Coconut - 2 tbsp 
Salt - as required
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method :

1. Heat oil in pan, add Urad dhal and fry till golden brown color.
2. Now add red chillies, tamarind, curry leaves and salt.
3. Switch off the heat and add coconut at last.
4. Allow this mixture to cool and grind it in mixer by adding little water.

Benefits:

Good for hair growth.
Prevents premature grey  hair.

Curry Leaves for Hair Growth.


Curry Leaves which we use in our daily food has immense impact in hair growth. In this post we can see how curry leaves can be used in various ways in hair growth.

Things Reqired :

Step 1:

Switch off the stove and leave the oil to cool. Filter the residue and store in a container.

Step 1:

Soak methi seeds in water for whole night.

Step 2:

Add curry leaves with those methi seeds and make a paste.

Step 3:

Apply to your scalp. Leave it set.

Then wash with your shampoo.

It helps in hair growth and reduces dandruff.

Curry Leaves Powder:

Step 1:

Take a bunch of Curry leaves and allow it to dry in sunlight.

Step 2 :

Take a dry mixer to grind the leaves to a powder.

Things needed:

Curry leaves - 7 to 8 leaves
Lemon - 1/2

Filter the leaves.

Step 3 :

Add Honey and Lemon to it. Now Lemon Curry drink is ready to drink.
