Curry leaves Chutney


Ingredients:

Curry leaves - a bunch
Urad dhal - 3 tbsp
Red chillies - 4
Tamarind - small lemon size
Coconut - 2 tbsp 
Salt - as required
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method :

1. Heat oil in pan, add Urad dhal and fry till golden brown color.
2. Now add red chillies, tamarind, curry leaves and salt.
3. Switch off the heat and add coconut at last.
4. Allow this mixture to cool and grind it in mixer by adding little water.

Benefits:

Good for hair growth.
Prevents premature grey  hair.

Serves : 3

Cooking Time : 15 min.

Chutney - Coconut Chutney

Hello friends here comes the first south Indian recipe which is very simple. Try it out.



Ingredients Required:

Grated Coconut - 1 cup.
Roasted gram - 4 tbsp.
Green chillies - 3.
Salt - as required.
Ginger - 1 inch.
Water.

For Tempering:

Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp.
Urad dhal - 1/2 tbsp.
Curry leaves - few
Oil - 1 tbsp.

Method :

Grind all the above ingredients in a mixer to a paste by adding little water and keep aside.
Pour oil in a pan, when the pan is heat add mustard seeds after it pops add urad dhal.
Then switch off heat and add curry leaves.
Add it to the grinded mixture.

Note :

Adding a inch of ginger increases the taste of chutney.

Preparation Time : 15 min
Serves : 3
Skill level : Simple.

Chill Sweet and Salt Lime Soda for Hot Summer

Mini recipe.

Ingredients.

Lemon - 1
Soda    - 200 ml
Salt      - 1 tbsp
Sugar   - 1 tbsp
Mint leaves - few
Ice cubes - as required.

Method.

1. Extract juice from lemon.

2. Add soda and salt(or sugar)to lemon juice.

3. Then add finely cut mint leaves.

4. Finally add ice cubes and serve.

This recipe is simple and quick to make. It will be a good refreshing drink in hot summer.
